The yarn included for this project is absolutely terrible, it splits constantly, very difficult to work with. The pattern instructions are confusing too. Switching from the collar to the cape, the stitch numbers are off, row 9 leaves 11 stitches then hdc in each of 55 stitches, does not leave 11 stitches at the end of that row, having 58 stitches for that row? That does not leave you with 58 stitches or 11 stitches at the end. Row 10 adds 2 stitches at the beginning of the row and 2 stitches at the end of the row. Ending row 9 with 58 stitches then add 2 stitches at the beginning and end of row 10 does not end with the 60 hdc count. This is not written well at all. I will be using a different yarn and adjusting the pattern, I will never buy another pattern using Annie's Caring Crochet yarn again. I like other yarns from Annie's, this one splits too much.
