I had one year ago and when we moved it was taken by a family member. Tried to find it for several years and last week I FOUND it right here at Annie's. Received it today and could not be happier, it was extremely hard to use cones without this little gem. I use it for my regular machine. Of course you may have to also lie to your machine, just put an unused spool on the thread holder, pass the cone thread through 2 holes (1 on each end) of the small spool and thread the machine normally. Works every time for my machine, have a great & blessed day.

I have one and use it all the time with serger size spools for my sewing machine. It works great and saves money from buying smaller spools made for the sewing machine!

I use this stand all the time, heavy, stays put, no tension problems, excellent product. Highly recommend it.

This has been a wonderful addition to my sewing area. I use cones mostly as most of my work is done on sergers/overlock machines of one sort or the other. When it is time to use my old Singer zig-zag multi-stitch machine, I do not have to hunt up my spools, but can set the cone on this stand, put the thread through the hook at the top and continue threading the machine. I have never had any tension troubles using this stand. I had purchased two and when my sister, also a seamstress, saw it I could see immediately that the second one was leaving with her. She is also extremely happy with hers. The only very small area for improvement might be that the hole in the base into which the bar sits could be a tiny bit deeper which would make it even sturdier. It is a great buy and I love it.
