I love this so far. It is a bit challenging as a new crocheter. I happened across a "class" on this site that is a video tutorial. Game changer! I THINK if you buy the class you get the instructions also. I bought one, then the other later, but it was still a bargain.

This is a challenging pattern, and I have learned so much while doing it. I had to watch a few you tube videos on the diamond stitch, and my diamonds look like squares :-). I Get caught up when I am crocheting to finish a section, rather than just finish the row. It's kind of addictive.

I'm enjoying this pattern very much. This is the second project I've done by reading a pattern so it challenged me. The pattern is easy to understand and I feel like I've learned a lot in doing it. Count your stitches, read the notes, and make sure you're working the right side for your designs.

Works up beautifully. Instructions are fairly easy to follow - it is definitely a pattern for advanced crocheters.

This is the most challenging pattern I have ever attempted. I can do it and it is neat. But I end up having to rip out and re do almost every single row. I am constantly counting the stitches to make sure it is right. I'm gonna keep at it because I don't give up. But in my opinion the pattern is poorly written because what is normal is not crochet in first stitch and on one row does not apply to next row.

This was so much fun to make. I made 3! One for me and 2 as surprise gifts for my cousins! Going to make 2 more for Christmas gifts!!

I enjoyed crocheting this afghan. There is a challenge in some of the design rows but it was fun to learn. I like the different textures. At one point, I ended up with texture on both sides and had to rip out a section. I'm not sure where I went wrong. I have been using it ever since I finished it.
