Once I got a hang of the pattern this blanket worked up fairly quickly. By no means did it turn out perfect, but it was my first big project since picking crochet back up. It's been a decade or so. Haha. Really fun pattern though, turned out lovely and I think my cat lady friend will enjoy it. It's also a nice size throw.

I found the pattern easy to follow, and the pictures were very helpful. I'm getting good at following charts. I carried the 2 yarns behind each other especially since Melange yarn was such a skinny worsted weight. I stopped counting stitches at one point and just plowed on. I never even looked at the how the pattern was working out until I was finished. And low and behold it looks great!!! I wish i could post a pic

I love this design, but I found the pattern confusing and not very well written. The instructions for the special stitches were fine, but the basic pattern information is lacking.

I made this for my niece. My brother told me he couldn't believe it was made by human hands. I used the rainbow colorway of melange and pound of love for the gray because the recommended Annie's was out of stock. It was one of the most highly rewarding projects I've ever completed and my niece adores it. I carried the colored yarn under the gray in the short sections btwn the tail and the body but otherwise had lots of skeins going at once. Take your time and manage the skeins every few rows. I'm addicted to chart crochet now and looking forward to designing my own!

Love love love the pattern! The instructions for the half-double foundation chain yay! and the knotted half-double crochet stitch are very easy to follow, though another method for the knotted stitch does not use five loops but rather three. I'm going to try them both and see how they look, then decide which I'd rather use. The multi-colored yarn suggested couldn't possibly be a worsted weight-I had to go to my local craft store and purchase their brand of multi-color worsted because working with the suggested yarn was like trying to use kitchen string in tandem with a bulky yarn. That was really the only problem I've had with the project, so that's why I gave this four stars rather than five. I'm making this for my daughter for Christmas or her January birthday and I don't anticipate any problem getting it done, I just had rather a rough start. And thank you for the 'print on demand' option for the pattern it was worth the wait!

A bit hard to get the pattern for the colour changing at first but once you get started is very easy. About 12 through and is very nice pattern
