ANNIE'S SIGNATURE DESIGNS: Crocodile Knit Christmas Tree

Fun and beautiful tree! I benefited from reading the comments and replies...clearly many are confused by Row 6, and it would seem that the pattern should be edited to contain the explanation and detail. Also, at first, I didn't realize that the video and the pictures in the pattern are not as the pattern is actually knit the crocodile scale has more stitches than the video, and the scales are not exactly offset as they appear in the pattern pictures. Other than that, the pattern is well-written and it helps to have the stitch count along the way.

Difficult, but once muscle memory clicked in for the crocodile stitch it was not so bad. I love a challenge and have made two so far. I used a regular floral cone to support the height and fed a fine wire through the bottom row to make the circle. It works very well. Received many compliments.

Hardest pattern I have ever tried to follow. Sorry, but this will be an UFO for me.
