Just received this today. Have the pattern, and been reviewing it. I can hardly wait to begin the afghan! Snowing tomorrow, so great day to stay inside and work on this project.

I bought the pattern and the kit this summer. A great yarn for a summer throw. Gave it to my best friend who LOVES it because it is just the right weight for her and just the right colors for her home. Liked learning a few new stitches. Doing each row in a different color is a bit of a pain -- might try this again in one color.

I love this pattern. I've completed others in the Annie's catalog, and by now I know how to read into the pattern. I have two children with sensory issues and they love this type of pattern. Been working on it a week and half done. I'm doing it in Navy, dk gray, light gray, light blue and white. Looks great! Feel free to send me any patterns you want tried out. I'm donating hats and afghans to cancer patients, and live the challenge of a new pattern!

Mixed feelings here. I absolutely love this yarn! So easy to work with. And it's a good thing, because I've taken out almost every stitch - some more than once. The pattern is well written in that I'm learning lots of new stitches, some out of my comfort zone. But each stripe a different stitch. You are given an approximate gauge for the stripe, but it is attached to the previous stripe. I've changed hook sizes thrice in 8 stripes (had to go up 4 hook sizes to get the gauge for the first stripe), but I've also had to take out the stripe to work with a different hook size to try to get the gauge. When this afghan is done, I think it will be beautiful. As another person said, the colors are not quite as bright as the picture shows. But there is much frustration as I work on it.
