I bought this to make the Japanese figure, but without the wings and halo as It will be a competition piece for our local craft and produce show in September 2017. I have read the instructions and it will be challenging, but needs to be, as standards are high at this show and I love a challenge. I have only given it 4 stars as I have not made it yet!!

I love this pattern. I have made several of the angels for friends, and have gotten great reviews. Everyone loves these angels. The best thing, is that you can personalize them. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes working with thread.

I haven't made them yet - busy with baby things but they are still a five star for me. I can't wait to get them finished because they will go so well with my Nativity collection. Over the years I have been collecting Nativities from around the world. Examples are a gourd from Peru where the front opens with Nativity inside. One made of banana leaves twisted into the shapes of the Nativity from Africa, and a Native American one with a tepee for a stable and a wolf as one of the animals. Love these Angels.
